It's with great pleasure that we give you this as always interesting and almost exclusive new developer diary of Condemned 2: Bloodshot, detailing the creation process of some of the characters in the game. The previous developer diary can be found here.
I guess most of you guys already know it, but I guess it's still nice to say it again. The demo of Need for Speed ProStreet is now available on Xbox Live, and our friend DjMizuhara uploaded this nice video showing most of what you can do with it.
Folks at Touchstone have this new video of Turok for us today, showing how to lure dinosaurs for the ultimate kill. Protip : they don't like their eggs to be broken and are attracted by flares.
Rockstar delivers new images of Table Tennis Wii, port of the 360 game released last year on Xbox 360. The first americain reviews point out responsiveness problems compared to its gamepad counterpart.
The semi-tactical FPS Clive Barker’s Jericho, in development for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, will be available this Thursday at your favorite retailer. Codemasters does one last push to promote their game with these new images from an unknown system. I really like the big and gory gladiator. Unfortunately, the PC demo did nothing to me.
The motors of Need For Speed ProStreet will hum in unison this November on many systems. We would like to share with you no less than three new videos of the racing game, which focus on different functionnalities ; the blueprint system for the cars with a demo available on the official website which we can then use later in the full version of the game, the speed challenge mode explanation and finally a trailer for it.
You know, I really like videos, but no one will be interested by Chocobo's Dungeon on the Nintendo Wii with this one. NO ONE. I was waiting for an action, a dungeon in movement, some kind of unexpected twist but no, all that is to be seen is a Choboco drinking tea, balancing and swimming in a pond. The bonus is no sound. *Cries*
Inspired by the success of Wii Sports, the mini-games collection that is EA Playground targets the casual gamers for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii systems. The Wiimote handling is shown through a video of Slot Car Racing included in the package which is similar to MicroMachines. But it seems the car is driven alone and that the moves are just added for fun rather than being important.
Midway releases four new images of Blacksite: Area 51. It's not groundbreaking graphics-wise, but the various interviews of Harvey Smith talking about the political content of the game - and Pipomantis' hysterical monologues, have rasen our interest for the game.
Tri-Crescendo's president Hiroya Hatsushiba presents us the development of Eternal Sonata (i.e. Trusty Bell) from a fresh angle with this first Making-of video. Already available in your favorite shops, this RPG dissociates itself from many others with a cute artistic direction.
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are furious of seeing their supply of bananas stolen by Bowser's minions : the Dojo for Super Smash Bros. Brawl offers a new video from the Subspace Emissary, already seen for people who had the chance to be at the E For All event last week. Nevertheless, the Donkey Kong Country is sweet music to my ears.
Extraterrestrial Cryptosporidium-137 is ready to enslave the human race in Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed for the Nintendo Wii, Playstation Portable and Playstation 2. Scheduled for an early 2008 release, this fourth entry in the series takes place in the 1970s. Hard to judge the visual quality with such low-res images (thanks THQ). From what I can see, a polish work is necessary. I like you Crypto, but could you be more beautiful?
Wesker is again behind the camera in this new series of images for Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles on the Nintendo Wii. Playable with the help of the Wii Zapper peripheral, it will allow us to revisit some of the most important moments in the franchise, like the battles against Tyrant, Nemesis and Veronica. Launch is planned at the end of November (30) in Europe.
Namco Bandai frees a bunch of new images for Soul Calibur Legends destined on the Nintendo Wii. This spin-off to the popular combat videogame places fighters like Lloyd Irving in their youth (read : laughable) in an adventure setting. I had the impression of viewing screens from a port of Onimusha, minus Jean Reno. Looks pretty badass though.
