After a lot of troubles with the customs I've finally received my japanese import copy of Ace Combat VI, and I certainly don't regret buying it. I had played a bit of Ace Combat IV on the PS2 so I more or less knew what to expect, but I was still surprised by the excellent gameplay, the mostly fantastic graphics and the overall level of polish of this game. Without a doubt one of the best titles released by Namco in the last few years, I can only recommend it to everyone not afraid to vomit in front of his screen after a few himmelman turns.
A comet nearly crashed on planet Earth. Humanity survived. On the other hand, the big rock let a green dust on its way. Unharmful to the humans, it has a deep impact on plants such as mushrooms, who gained a conscience, formed tribes and, inevitably, make war. This original premise, I let you profit from it with this video of some characters from Mushroom Men, planned on Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii in late 2008.
GameCock and Blazing Lizard once again show the ninja class from Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball scheduled in the first quarter of 2008 on Xbox Live. Only then the dilemma will be settled about who is the king of dodgeball between these funny characters.

To conclude the week in updates on Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Dojo, Masahiro Sakurai reveals the utility of the gold coins seen in a previous week. They will be used to gamble on your favorite fighter in online matches via Nintendo Wi-Fi, meaning you will be able to spectate while on your couch, watch and gain prizes. While I'm at it, I'm adding MetaKnight's special moves as I was in a bit of a rush yesterday.
THQ and Kaos has released a trailer of Frontlines: Fuel of War, planned for a release in February on Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3. The trailer explains the Drones in the game, there are quite a few, and it seems like Kaos has learned from their work on Battlefield - there were people who complained about the fact that vehicles were too powerful, and now the drones can take care of this. Hopefully they just won't turn the battlefield into a robot circus.
Last minute change! The embargo for Assassin's Creed has been lifted here in Europe too. By chance I had already 2 videos uploaded, so here they are. At Ubisoft's request I'm not showing the real beginning of the game. If you know what happens, please don't spoil the surprise for the others! More videos, including from the PS3 version, and our impressions will follow later today and tomorrow.Update: Third part available.Update 2: Added a very short but still interesting video comparison of the 360 and PS3 versions. Thanks to TTP for the PS3 part :)Update 3: Fourth and likely last video of the 360 version is up. Let me know if you want to see a video of what happens in the city.Update 6: The PS3 video is back, this time with the right framerate. Again sorry about that.Update 7: Since some people have claimed that the retail PS3 version ran far better than the review one, I went and bought it to make sure I didn't unfairly compare both versions. So I've done another comparison video, and you'll notice that the end result is still the same. I'm eagerly awaiting some people arguing that my PS3 is either broken, my capture hardware is buggy, or I've simply cheated the video so the 360 version looked better.
Who would have thought at the beginning of this generation of consoles that Turok would be a game to be hyped about? Not a lot of people I bet, but this video certainly does indicate that some good could actually come from the Turok license again!

Hopefully we'll be able to show more of the game in the next few days too. Enjoy!Update 3: TTP must have spent a long night capturing and reencoding all the videos again, but there they are, and this time they are as good as they can be! Many thanks to him!
