The Limited Edition of the Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack that was announced last week is now up for preorder online - with its limited status, it might be worth ordering soon!The soundtrack comes on a whopping four discs including all the music from the game including the two theme songs sung by Sayuri Sugawara.The limited edition also includes a bonus 'drama' CD which retells the 'Episode Zero' FF13 stories in a dramatic audio form, recorded by the in-game FF13 voice cast. In addition to that you'll get a special box, sleeve and a limited 32 page visual book.
Despite being (mildly) inferior, the PS3 version of Bayonetta has sold over twice the number of copies the (slightly) superior Xbox 360 original has on its opening day…The PS3 version sold a total of 93,000 copies, whilst the Xbox 360 version sold a mere 45,000, despite scoring a whole two points higher in a suspect Famitsu review.If even a botched port can manage twice the sales of the supposedly perfect Xbox version it seems Microsoft's Japanese position may be even worse than previously established…
Early this morning Microsoft finally released the beta version of Halo Waypoint, the new content and community hub for the popular series, onto Xbox LIVE for the fall 2009 system update preview program members. If that wasn't enough, you can now score unique Avatar Awards as well.

ConnectedConsoles: The original Assassins Creed didn't have a public demo which did anger fans and most likely affected the games overall sales. Though if you did play the full game, you would have been impressed. Today however, we can reveal that there will be no public demo (other than exhibitions) for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2007 action-adventure.

Online game maker Cryptic Studios said its most recent MMORPG, the Atari-published Champions Online, has garnered over 1 million created superhero characters, but the size of the subscriber base is unclear.Cryptic is the studio that created the MMORPGs City of Heroes and City of Villains, NCsoft-published superhero properties that are still in development by other studios. Atari acquired Cryptic earlier this year as part of the publisher's stronger focus on online gaming.
