MEDLINE citations and the MeSH database have been updated with 2010 MeSH vocabulary.

  NCBI services, including PubMed, will undergo maintenance beginning Friday, November 13, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. until Saturday, November 14, at 8:00 p.m. (EST). During this time PubMed will be operational, although some features may be slow or unavailable.

  PubMed transitioned completely to the redesigned interface.

  My NCBI My Bibliography was enhanced to allow users to add citations from books, meetings, presentations, patents, and articles not found in PubMed.

  A link to preview the PubMed redesign has been added to the PubMed home and result pages.

  An auto suggest feature has been added to the PubMed search box.

  My NCBI was updated to record up to 6 months of Recent Activity. Changes also include a feature to send an e-mail to users that have forgotten their password.

  My NCBI was enhanced to provide users with the capability to create custom filters and share a collection or bibliography.

  The Summary Text and File formats have been updated to use a paragraph style - popular for references and bibliographies.

  The Summary display has been changed to include information about the availability of free articles from publishers.
