The British singer, who checked herself in and out of rehab in August, also picked up nods for Song of the Year and Record of the Year for her hit single "Rehab." Even with six nominations, Amy wasn't the top Grammy contender. She was beaten out by Kanye West, who received eight nominations, including album of the year for his Graduation. His mother, who tragically died last month, would be proud. Meanwhile, the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Justin Timberlakeand T-Painalso came away with five nominations each.

Eva revealed that she's avoided fur since her first movie premiere when she wore a fur wrap that her stylist put her in. PETA wrote her a "beautiful letter." "I was so impressed that I vowed to them and myself to never wear real fur... again," says the actress. "Personally, I think wearing a baby chinchilla says, 'I'm ignorant,' [not] 'I'm badass.'" After pleading no contest to his second drunk-driving arrest in three years, 24star Kiefer Sutherlandimmediately reported to jail to serve his 48-day sentence. He was processed into the Glendale, Calif., jail yesterday. "Mr. Sutherland is very polite and humble. He was very cooperative during the booking process," said jail spokesman Officer John Balian. "He will be issued an orange jumpsuit, and will be housed alone in a cell, since he'll be a long-term inmate." Kiefer will also have to work, doing laundry and kitchen duty, serving breakfast lunch and dinner to the other inmates. According to the LA City Attorney's Office, there will be no early release a la Lindsay Lohanand Nicole Richie. "Sutherland will be serving the 48 days in the Glendale City Jail, with no early release and no good time/work time credit, so we expect that he will serve the entire 48 days in jail," the office send in a statement. The actor was also sentenced to five years probation, weekly therapy sessions for six months and an 18-month alcohol education program.

Guess there is such a thing as having too many endorsements. Teri Hatcherwas tapped by the Hydroderm company for an "exclusive endorsement deal" in 2005, according to papers filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Hydroderm claims Teri then went on to promote a competing brand, City Cosmetics. "Hatcher's name, image and likeness have been linked to so many competitors' products (at least 17!) that it is anyone's guess as to what product keeps her skin and lips youthful," says the suit. The company is suing for a complete refund of her $2.4 million endorsement deal, plus $400,000 in expenses. Teri's legal rep fired back that the allegations are an "unjustified and public assault on Teri Hatcher's good name, reputation and celebrity."
There's nothing like a little competition to get someone motivated. According to the New York Post, Britney Spearswas ready to bail on her $500,000 music video, but showed up when she learned that her record label was ready to let an up-and-coming singer have the shoot. "Britney was supposed to shoot a video for her song 'Piece of Me' last Tuesday at Social Hollywood," a well-placed insider at her Jive Records label told the paper. "But she refused to come. Jive was really upset. They were already paying everyone overtime and finally Britney showed up 12 hours late — but only after they told her they were going to give the video shoot to another Jive artist, Samantha Jade. Britney finally showed up when she realized a new, younger, hotter girl would take her slot." At least there's something that will get Brit to work!
