      After almost five years of performing "A New Day" on the Vegas strip, singer Celine Diontook to the stage for her last appearance on Saturday night. The show, which had been at Caesars Palace since its start in 2003, ended with an emotional goodbye where the singer admitted, "It's a pleasure to perform for you, but I'm extremely passionate to be a mother." And after the final song her 6-year-old son, René-Charles, accompanied by her husband/manager, René Angelil, presented the tear-stricken Celine with rose petals that rained down.

      Stars from Rihannato Rumer Willishave been seen out-and-about showcasing some crazy designs on their digits. Pop star Rihanna was photographed leaving the Spice Girlsreunion tour in London, sporting a new twist to the standard French manicure: black nails with red tips. And if that wasn't weird enough, Bruceand Demi's daughter is currently running around LA with giraffe-inspired prints on the end of her fingers.

      Forbesmagazine has named Brad Pittand Angelina Jolie's offspring as Hollywood's most influential tot. The 18-month-old earned top rankings thanks to her numerous appearances in articles across the globe. Other babes of note were Tom Cruiseand Katie Holmes' Suri, Brangelina's other children Zaharaand Pax, and Britney Spearsand Kevin Federline's eldest Sean Preston. Wonder if they'll remember to thank us in their acceptance speeches?

      No winter weather woes are going to keep Jennifer Garnerdown! Jen and her 2-year-old daughter, Violet, bundled up and hit the snowy streets of New York City yesterday afternoon. A hooded winter jacket for mom, and a hat, coat and layers of blankets in her carriage for Violet helped them fend off the inclement weather, as did the pretty polka-dot umbrella.

      Has Michelle Williamsfound the key to beating the solo holiday blues? Heath Ledger's ex was spotted having a cozy dinner date with Ryan Goslingin New York City's West Village this week, reports the New York Post. The two critically acclaimed thespians were at a table for two at the intimate Italian restaurant Piadina on Tuesday. Their reps claimed it was nothing more than a work meeting, but one eyewitness saw something more meaningful in Ryan's warm gaze.

    +Pam and Rick, the next Nick and Jessica?
      Thanks to the report that Pamela Andersonand her new husband, RickSalomon, are in talks to do a reality show, the Baywatchstar addresses the rumor on her blog. "I WAS considering. Only to promote and have people see what it's like to create a show... starring in a big Vegas production. Probably not happening anymore. Not my life. Never my kids. I'm blessed. So many options. I can't complain. I can be confused." Well, now we're not.

I was never going to be the best singer or the best dancer or the best actress. I was never a 'natural.'" Well, don't tell her fellow Spice Girls, who are set to begin a 17-show run in London starting tomorrow night.

      With so much anticipation for the HBO show Sex and the Cityto come to the big screen, it was only a matter of time before talk of a sequel began. And even though the movie isn't due out until May, an insider reveals to Britain's Daily Mailthat producers "are convinced the first will be a hit. They want it to be a franchise and think they can stretch it over at least three movies." Now that's what you call Big news!

    +In Touch Exclusive: Madonna's keeping her baby
      Madonnahas been anxiously waiting to hear if she'll be allowed to keep her adoptedson, Malawian-born David Banda— and now In Touchcan exclusively reveal the government report which says she will. She and her husband, Guy Ritchie, have passed a visit from a Malawi social welfare official with flying colors. “Mrs. Ritchie presents a confident and able parent,” the officer said in his report. “There are clear indications that David is becoming a happy, secure toddler.” The official concludes the report by saying "it is in the best interest of the child" to be adopted by the Ritchies.Check out In Touchto see the official report from the Malawi official.

    +The new Golden girls: Angelina, Cate, Keira, Jodie and Julie
      No, it's not our dream line-up of a remake of the classic television series. Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett, Keira Knightley, Jodie Fosterand Julie Christieare the nominees for the Best Actress at this year's Golden Globe awards, it was announced this morning. George Clooney, Daniel Day-Lewis, James McAvoy, Viggo Mortensen, and Denzel Washingtonwere each nominated for Best Actor. Fans will have to wait to January 13 to see which of these amazing talents will take home the gold statue.

    +Baby Spice on crutches
      Better give Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, two seats on "Spice One," the Spice Girls'Virgin Atlantic tour jet: one seat for her, and one for her over-size accessories, her new crutches. Emma showed up on crutches to a Spice Girls promo shoot with their jet yesterday after falling onstage and spraining her ankle during the group's Las Vegas performance on Monday. "I had a tumble," she explained, "so I'm hobbling around on crutches." She only has a few days before the supergroup's London tour dates, which begin on December 15, but she expects a "speedy recovery." Take baby steps, Baby Spice.

    +Damien rocks out
      He’s best known as an MTV VJ, but what Damien Faheyreally wants to do is play the drums. He and his band, Here’s Johnny, were scheduled to play a "secret" show on December 13 at The Cutting Room in New York. “Damien is killer on the drums,” says a friend, who adds that the VJ has been drumming live with Here’s Johnny — the band is named after the late talk-show host Johnny Carson’s catchphrase — for several months. Members of the band Simple Plan as well as TV personality Kelly Ripa were expected to show up.

    +Katie Holmes on her family
      Katie Holmesis about to turn 29 in only a matter of days, but when it comes to gifts, she admits to In Stylemagazine that she has everything she could ever want. January's covergirl says her relationship with husband Tom Cruise"gets better and better." And as for their little girl, Suri, she admits she is "mostly shocked at how quickly she grows." At the end of the day, "I want to go to sleep knowing I made my family happy, I made myself happy and I worked hard in all aspects of life. It's really pretty simple."

    +Felicity Huffman wants her Desperate kids to die
      Maybe the ongoing writers strike has made her crazy, but Desperate Housewivesstar Felicity Huffmanrecently told USA Todaythat she would like "some of Lynette's kids to die." The last episode left off with a tornado hitting Wisteria Lane and the Scavo tots and dad buried under a pile of rubble. With their fate still a mystery, Felicity thinks "there's such anticipation that all of Lynette's family won't make it back." But "they're all lovely little actors."
