Emma showed up on crutches to a Spice Girls promo shoot with their jet yesterday after falling onstage and spraining her ankle during the group's Las Vegas performance on Monday. "I had a tumble," she explained, "so I'm hobbling around on crutches." She only has a few days before the supergroup's London tour dates, which begin on December 15, but she expects a "speedy recovery." Take baby steps, Baby Spice.
He’s best known as an MTV VJ, but what Damien Faheyreally wants to do is play the drums. He and his band, Here’s Johnny, were scheduled to play a "secret" show on December 13 at The Cutting Room in New York. “Damien is killer on the drums,” says a friend, who adds that the VJ has been drumming live with Here’s Johnny — the band is named after the late talk-show host Johnny Carson’s catchphrase — for several months. Members of the band Simple Plan as well as TV personality Kelly Ripa were expected to show up.
