+Lidge closes out Phillies' 6-5 win over Rockies
Between frosty breaths on the mound, Brad Lidge warmed to the challenge. Philadelphia's beleaguered closer stranded runners at first and second base on a bitterly cold night when he got Troy Tulowitzki to fly out to shallow left field Sunday, preserving the Phillies' 6-5 win over the Colorado Rockies in Game 3 of their NL playoff series.

+ESPN: The Body Issue - Beautiful Naked People
OH boy here we go again! YES, someone who poses NAKED can still believe in GOD. NO, it doesn't mean she's whoring herself for attention or money ...I'm all for woman's rights, my dad is a feminist, but geeez they make much ado about nothing, sometimes.

+2009 MLB seasoin in review: Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles are a bad baseball organization, and a bad baseball team. A new day was supposed to arrive two years ago when Andy McPhail came to town in 2007. McPhail was the architect of the 1987 and 1991 Minnesota Twins World Champions but, so far he has failed to help rebuild the Orioles. Given that the play in the AL east with the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Tampa Bay Rays life is a little tough on them, but beyond Nick Markakis this is a roster pretty devoid of Major League talent.

    +2009-10 NBA preview: Philadelphia 76ers
Two big questions face this team for the coming NBA season. Have the finally found, the right Head Coach, and who will take over the point from departed guard Andre Miller? While this team has made the playoffs in each of the last two seasons, losing Miller isa huge blow. This team will have to turn over the point to a few players that don't have all that much experience running an offense. While they are a pretty good team, they face an uphill battle to get back to the playoffs in 2010.

+Padilla, Dodgers beat Cardinals 5-1 for sweep
Unemployed in August, Vicente Padilla kept the Los Angeles Dodgers going in October.
