ProcMeter3 is a program for monitoring the system status and other information and displaying it in a series of graphs or as text. Most of the information comes from the /proc filesystem (cpu usage, load average , processes information, memory usage, network traffic, interrupts etc.). Other information is available for other sources (date, time, email status, log file length, disk status etc.). Minirok is a small music player for the K DesktopEnvironment. As its name hints, it's modelledafter Amarok, but with a reduced set of features.In particular, it is designed to cover all theneeds and wishes of the author, leaving everythingelse out. The look and feel is almost identical toAmarok's, though. The main interface is a treeview of the filesystem, with a playlist that canonly be populated via drag and drop. mkCDrec (Make CD-ROM Recovery) makes a bootable(El Torito) disaster recovery image, includingbackups of the Linux system to one or moreCD-ROM(s) (multi-volume sets). Otherwise, thebackups can be stored on another disk, NFS/CIFS disk,or (remote) tape. After a disk crash or systemintrusion, the system can be booted from theCD-ROM and one can restore the complete system asit was. It also features disk cloning, whichallows one to restore a disk to another disk (thedestination disk does not have to be of the samesize, as it calculates the partition layoutitself). Nmap Parser is a Perl module to ease the pain ofdeveloping scripts or collecting networkinformation from nmap scans. Nmap::Parser does its task by parsing the information in the output of an nmap scan by using the XML-formatted output. This module can perform an nmap scan and parse the output automagically using parsescan(). It can parse an nmap XML file. memtester is a user-space utility for testing thememory subsystem in a computer to determine if itis faulty. It does a good job of findingintermittent faults and non-deterministic faults.It has many tests to help catch borderline memory. memtester shouldcompile and run on any 32- or 64-bit Unix orUnix-like system.License:GNU General Public License (GPL)Changes:This release adds a startup check for the amount of memory being greater than the possible address space.
