Himerge is a GUI for emerge (Gentoo's Portagesystem) written in Haskell using gtk2hs. The mainidea is to simplify browsing the entire portagetree, and allow running the most basic and commonoptions from the emerge command. It also offersseveral handy tools, like global and local useflags browsers, inspired by UFED (the Gentoo LinuxUSE flags editor). Butterfly Container is a Java dependency injectioncontainer. It is smaller (~100KB jar), yet more flexible andeasier to use than Spring, Pico, and Guice (atleast in the developers' opinion). Instead of XML,Butterfly Container is configured using a simple,flexible, Java-like configuration language, or byplugging plain non-annotation, non-reflection Javafactories into the container.
